Limiting the Power of Government
The peace
and happiness are the main desire of all people on this planet. To get such a
peace and prosperity we all look help from government and every citizens of the
nation. However we see that government with highest power alone cannot provide
peace and happiness. For instance some dictatorial governments kill their own
citizen to stay on power that violates ordinary human rights. As a result I
argue that limiting the power from the government and giving back to the people
will help to build the better society. More over the people who choose the
government to serve should obey and follow the rule of law.
On the
other hand, I do not believe that society without some limited government power
will function well due the nature of human behavior. Still some rule of law
created by the people of the nation should be enforced by the limited power of
government. The government should recognize the people that assigned them to
enforce the rule of law. In addition the government should be aware that they
can be removed from the assigned office for any misconduct that leads them to
break the law.
The law
is an important part of a nation because it play a role between the government
who inforce the law and the people who follow the law. Limiting the government
power means that the government should follow same law as other citizen and
their power is restricted by the law.
For the
most part it is expected that the law should protect the liberties of its
people including government officials and citizens from the abuses and
injustices at the hands of government officers.
The law should be enforced on the government officials similar to
individual citizens of the nation for any misconduct performed by appointed
government.
I argue that the power of government to intervene in the exercise of civil freedoms should be restricted by law. Also giving all the power for the government to promote or demote any opportunities through regulation without the will of the individual citizens should be restricted. The government should closely work with people whenever major changes or regulations are introduced to civil societies. I also think the government should leave people to make some decision on moral and ethical questions. On the other hand from view still we need some government action on enforcing law for moral and ethical behavior that related to the law.
I also
argue that limiting the government wills maximize the opportunity, enterprise
and creativity of all individuals. People can work on less regulation with
freedom on making decisions and will go with higher talents and ambitions.
There are a lot of advantages of limiting the power of the government. For
example it will protect from having a government ruled by dictator.
In
conclusion I think the power of government should be limited to create better
democratic society. In addition people should follow the law without misconduct
and anyone who breaks the law should accountable.
